kosi bay lodge in manguzi exceeded our expectations. being close to the parks board office was convenient, and the staff provided great information and contacts for tours. The property's solar power kept us always with lights despite load shedding, and we felt secure leaving our car in front of our chalet. The decks for dining and lake views were fantastic, and seeing nyala roaming the grounds was a bonus.
swimming pool water was green.

The rooms were cozy and well-equipped, with a nice aesthetic. the food was exceptional, with a great variety of options for both seafood and meat lovers. the staff were incredibly accommodating and creative when it came to accommodating dietary restrictions. They went above and beyond to make sure I had delicious meals, even desserts. the local guides provided a unique and memorable experience, taking us to places we wouldn't have found on our own. the staff displayed genuine kindness and made my stay truly enjoyable.
The pool was a bit chilly, but it may have been due to the season. there was some confusion regarding payment upon arrival, as I had already made the payment in advance.

We were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful place we found. Returning from Mozambique, Kosi Bay Lodge provided the perfect quick stop on our way home. The lodges are well-positioned in a peaceful and tranquil setting, ideal for relaxation. The restaurant served delicious food, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and extremely accommodating. We especially enjoyed our own splash pool, which was refreshing after a long trip. The location near Lake 3 and the surrounding area added to the incredible beauty of the lodge. We'll definitely be returning for a longer stay!
Would recommend this hotel.

The room we stayed in had a balcony and a cozy seating area, which made it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. We loved the fact that the chalet had a fully equipped kitchenette, complete with a microwave and toaster. It was great for whipping up quick meals. The private entrance in the chalet gave us a sense of privacy and made us feel like we had our own little retreat.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the stovetop in the chalet. It didn't work very well and took a while to heat up.
